Science stories for kids
Science stories on LearnLaughs take one question and stay with it: what a thing is made of, why it moves, or how a living thing keeps going. Every story is written for one age from 5 to 18, in plain words, with a picture and a five-question quiz at the end. Parents and teachers can read beside a child, stop on a new word, and use the quiz as a talk rather than a score. You will find materials, weather, the human body, plants, and simple machines. Pick a story below, then open another that shares the same idea. A story is listed here only when it is long enough to teach something, has a picture, and is written in English. If a science topic is missing, start from the home page, enter an age, and ask for that topic. Reading together for a few minutes is enough for one sitting.
Parents can save a story after signing in, and Premium removes the daily limit on new lessons. Start with the list on this page, then open a related story when the first one is finished.
